graphic collection of Vienna Fine arts academy) and etc.
Farshido graduated as Master of Fine arts and from 2015-2018 he worked as lecture with “Practical Exercises Fine
Arts” as part of MORE program, at Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, AT.
The name Farshido comes from the assimilation of Farshid and others, indicating the anachronistic collaboration
between the artist and the designers of the antique objects used in his artworks.
Farshido Larimian (b.1983) is an Iranian-Austrian artist and curator with a
chemical & petroleum engineering background. He has been living and
working in Vienna since 2007.
Farshido’s works has been exhibited at Joya by Alserkal Dubai in Invictus,
UAE, at WOP artfair, CHE, TheOthers Artfair Turin, IT, AsiaNow Artfair Paris,
Theater am Spittelberg in It’s all up in the air (2021), at MUMOK Vienna in
Solidarity Matters Benefitzaktion, and PARALLEL Artfair, AT (2018) and etc.

At the moment, Dr. Noroozi is a senior Post Doc at the University of Vienna and has an FWF project about the biogeography and phylogeography of the vascular plant species of SW Asian mountains
Dr. Jalil Noroozi has been investigating vegetation ecology and biogeography of the Iranian high-mountain flora since 2003. He finished his MSc at the University of Tehran and wrote his PhD dissertation at the Department of Botany and Biodiversity Research, University of Vienna. After PhD, he was a researcher at the Natural History Museum of Vienna for two years working on type specimens of Iranian Flora in the W Herbarium
